Joey is a retired Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel who served 34 years in uniform. He serves on the Indiana University Southeast Board of Advisors where Joey and his wife, Beth, share a passion for helping nontraditional students.  He holds a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. In addition to serving as The CEO of Rivera Group, Joey is also the CEO of Eagle6, a software development company that provides cyber software to the US federal government.
